The term “VUCA” was first used by the US military in the 1990s to describe the world after the Cold War. Now, it’s also used in the business world to describe the unpredictable nature of workplaces. VUCA environments have also created new job roles like “Chief Chaos Officer” or “VUCA Navigator.”

Reported speech is a way of expressing what someone else said or thought without using their exact words.

In reported speech, the verb tense, pronouns, and other elements often change to reflect the shift from direct speech (the original words) to indirect speech (our report of those words). 

Below is a table summarizing the changes in some verb tenses when using reported speech:
